Exporail

Track to Discovery in a pleasant and safe environment

ExporailThe Exporail team is pleased to announce the reopening of the museum! Exporail has taken a series of preventive and collective measures to face the current crisis and is delighted to welcome visitors once again in a pleasant and safe atmosphere from Wednesday’s to Sunday’s between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. Thanks to spectacular new lighting and the creation of an immersive space in the area between the information desk and the museum’s Grand Gallery, the permanent exhibit has been given a facelift that will delight regulars and entice new audiences. It will also be an opportunity to admire more than 400 railway artifacts and to view magnificent archival images presented on screens. Families will be able to complete their visit by taking a ride on the garden railway outside.

In order to encourage the public to come and explore the largest railway collection in the country and to compensate for the interruption of certain activities caused by exceptional circumstances, a 50% discount will be granted to visitors on regular fees for a limited time. As one of the objectives is to minimize waiting time at the entrance and to control traffic on the site, all Exporail visitors (including free visitors) will also be required to reserve their ticket(s) for a predetermined date and time via the museum’s electronic ticket booth. This summer, visitors will enter the museum through a new entrance with about 50 additional parking spaces.
