Tom Ballard

Tom Ballard is an award-winning Australian stand-up who’s trying to save the world with comedy lol. Since becoming the youngest ever winner of the Melbourne Comedy Festival’s Best Newcomer Award in 2009, Tom’s twice been nominated for Most Outstanding Show at that festival, as well as scoring nominations for Best Newcomer and Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. He’s also hosted a panel show about the dark secrets of reality television and his own (very naughty) late-night show Tonightly with Tom Ballard; and in 2022, he released his debut book I, Millennial: One Snowflake’s Screed Against Boomers, Billionaires & Everything Else. In 2023 Tom will star as the lovable/hopeless Sven in the Amazon Prime series Deadloch, and is stoked to return to Montreal for his fifth JFL with his hot new hour, It Is I.
