Bollywood Dance Evening – September 17, 2022 LiveEvents September 13, 2022 621 L’Art en soi Festival presents Bollywood Dance Evening Enter the colourful world of Bollywood at this dance evening featuring an introductory Bollywood dance lesson with choreographer and performer Rameez Karim, who has over 20 years of experience in the field. Master isolations, hand positions (mudras), fluidity, leg work, and theatricality. Musicians and the DJ Sam will be on hand to accompany you on the dancefloor, making for a festive ambience all evening long! Saturday, September 17, 2022 on the Esplanade de la Place des Arts 6 pm: Site and bars open 7 pm to 8 pm: Introductory lessons with the choreographer and performer Rameez Karim 8 pm to 9 pm: Open dance with musical performances 9 pm to 10 pm: DJ Sam New this year: drinks and snacks will be available at the Festival’s bars, as soon as the site opens at 6 pm. The L’Art en soi Festival features six festive “Soirées dansantes”—dance evenings—with introductory lessons on various styles of dance, live music, and DJs: samba, disco and waacking, Guinean dance, Bollywood, Latin dance, and country. Five “Midis dansés”—lunchtime dances—are also on the program to get you moving at midday! It’s a date, on the Esplanade at Place des Arts, from September 15 to 24!
