The Grand PoutineFest: entertainment and poutine with all kinds of sauces… served behind the wheel!

The Grand PoutineFest is coming to Pointe-Claire from May 27 to 30th for its famous gourmet festival in a drive-through version! PartageAction West Island Community Shares will be on site to collect donations. In the Fairview parking lot near pole #6, six of our famous foodtrucks will offer twenty different combinations of fries, sauce and squick-squick cheese, in vegan versions or topped with ribs, pulled pork, bacon, sausage, general tao chicken, crispy tofu and more! For sweet tooths, the Cabane à chichi will offer its famous churros.

Enjoy the festivities from the comfort of your car
The event’s car route will ensure that all poutine lovers are entertained from start to finish. In a queue, they will be able to:

  1. Dance their shoulders off to the beat of DJ Kleancut while tuned to Poutine FM.
  2. Work up an appetite by checking out the menu or visiting the event’s Facebook page.
  3. Marvel at the performances of the entertainers.
  4. Place their order, wait and… enjoy!

Once again this year, the Grand PoutineFest will travel throughout the greater Montreal area all summer long. Here are the upcoming dates:

Cégep André Laurendeau (LaSalle) – June 17 to 20

About the Grand FoodFest
Since 2014, the Grand FoodFest has been offering family and gourmet events where a wide variety of poutines are offered by its street food trucks throughout Quebec, with the goal of raising funds for a local cause. Over 25 organizations have benefited from the profits made from the sale of poutines, alcoholic beverages and merchandise over the past six years. These famous trucks include Smoking BBQ, Charlie’s Shack, Cantine chez Henri, Greg’s Dinner, Smoking Dragon and Mama Caliente.

Sanitary measures respected
Under no circumstances will customers be allowed to leave their cars, PoutineFest employees will collect their orders from the various trucks and deliver them to their windows. All employees will wear masks and waterless disinfectant soap stations will be available.  All types of payment will be accepted. The menu will be available on the event’s Facebook page. There will be no restrooms available and no parking on site to eat.
