Longueuil Symphony Orchestra – Spring Concert

As part of the Portée pédagogique series, the Orchester symphonique de Longueuil (OSDL) and the Commission scolaire Marie-Victorin (CSMV) present the Spring Concert, which is in its 21st edition. More than 300 primary school students will perform choral singing accompanied by the OSDL. This concert allows students to explore a varied repertoire and above all, to enjoy an exceptional experience as they share the stage with the professional musicians of the Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Marc David. In addition, the public will be pleased to hear Joey Désaulniers, a young bassoonist from Saint-Edmond School, a student of Mary Chalk, who will perform Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto in D minor.

Here are the 10 participating elementary schools:
Commission scolaire Marie-Victorin: Adrien-Gamache, Carillon, Félix-Leclerc, Gentilly, Jacques-Ouellette, Lajeunesse, des Petits-Explorateurs, Rabeau.
Commission scolaire des Grandes-Seigneuries: Félix-Leclerc.
Commission scolaire des Patriotes: Antoine-Girouard.
