It’s time to mark your calendar and plan on being with us at Loyola Chapel when the Lyric Theatre Singers return to present four performances of Candlelight Christmas December 6th to the 9th. The glow of candlelight beckons as the Singers prepare their traditional holiday concert of seasonal songs to warm your winter night. An exceptional treat this year is the special guest appearance by the English Montreal School Board Chorale Youth Choir, under the direction of Patricia Abbott, for one night only on December 6th. The EMSB Chorale will perform selections from their own Christmas repertoire as well as blend their voices with those of the Singers, further guaranteeing a heartwarming holiday experience for all! Musical director Bob Bachelor has selected repertoire that covers a wide range of musical styles ideally suited to ring in the Holiday season and fill everyone’s heart with the true spirit of Christmas. Bob has also invited some of Montreal’s most talented musicians to join us.
