DON QUIXOTE IN PARIS

Outstanding violinist and conductor Julien Chauvin returns for his third performance at Bourgie Hall, the occasion for his debut as a conductor and soloist with Les Violons du Roy. He will be joined by actor Normand Chouinard, who will portray the eternally fascinating figure of Don Quixote, whose adventures were magnificently expressed in music by Telemann.

The scores and orchestral parts of the works by Dauvergne, Leclair, and Mondonville were created by the Centre de musique baroque Versailles.
