Italian Week

The festival offers a program that celebrates the beauty and diversity of Italy through art, music, gastronomy, fashion and folklore. Hosting an array of activities in several locations across the city: Little Italy, Saint-Leonard, NDG, RDP, Lasalle, and Le Boulevard Commercial Centre.

Activities and special events

Featuring some of the best talents in the Italian-Canadian community, several concerts are scheduled, including performances by international artists, Anna Liani and IMA.

Special events include the fashion show, “Moda Sotto le Stelle” featuring Italian-Canadian designers, screenings of classic Italian films based on the featured region of Veneto, a zeppole contest with local bakeries and media personalities, and for the grand finale – “Madame Butterfly”, by Puccini.

Events will run for ten days in various neighborhoods. For the final weekend, the streets of Little Italy will be closed to car traffic and the festivities will go on all day. All the activities are FREE and within proximity of public transportation.
