Live Theatre Returns to the Centaur with MOB – March 26 to April 3, 2021 LiveEvents March 19, 2021 1467 Live Theatre Returns to the Centaur with MOB Same play! Same cast … one year later! The Centaur Theatre is thrilled to announce that actors are currently rehearsing for the remount of last year’s smash hit, MOB! With the Quebec government’s recent decision to reopen theatres, Centaur is proceeding with the hit play that was interrupted by Covid-19 more than a year ago. Written by Catherine-Anne Toupin Translation by Chris Campbell Directed by Andrew Shaver With Susan Bain, Matthew Kabwe and Adrianne Richards A brilliant psychological thriller that keeps the audience in suspense to the very end. Sophie, a professional with 20 years’ experience in her field, loses her job under questionable circumstances. Confused and hurt, she heads out of town looking for a way to assuage her humiliation and rage, eventually arriving at a quaint B&B run by the matronly Louise and her warm and welcoming nephew, Martin. After a few well-watered evenings, tongues loosen and a disturbing complicity develops between Martin and Sophie. Was her distraught drive to the country and unexpected arrival at the B&B as random as we think? A brilliant psychological thriller that keeps the audience in suspense to the very end. CONTENT ADVISORY Mature subject matter and strong language. This play contains references to gender-based violence and explicit sexual content. Tickets & Safety Tickets will go on sale March 19th for small, socially distanced audiences for 8 performances of MOB.
