Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade

New York conductor James Feddeck returns to conduct Rimsky-Korsakov’s most popular work: Scheherazade, an orchestral suite inspired by The Thousand and One Nights. Rimsky-Korsakov’s student Prokofiev rounds out the program with his Sinfonia concertante, an intimate dialogue between orchestra and cello, with Norwegian cellist Truls Mørk as soloist.
