The 29th edition of Festival International Nuits d’Afrique

The Festival International Nuits d’Afrique is an international event that brings thousands of spectators eager to discover the music and cultures of Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America. More than 90 concerts, workshops and activities are presented at indoor and outdoor venues in the heart of downtown Montreal, making it the largest North American gathering of major artists coming from 30 different countries.

At the forefront of artistic creativity the Festival plumbs a vast pool of talent from here to Timbuktu, across great oceans to Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America.

By encouraging the best of old and new world traditions in a spirit of family filled with passion, the festival has carved out a unique position on the cultural landscape and captured the imagination of faithful festival-goers. From summer to summer, attendance at Festival International Nuits d’Afrique has climbed steadily. The fans turned out for 11 unforgettable days spiced with the flavours of southern lands.
