Elgar’s Cryptic Enigma Variations
October 9 at 7:30 pm and October 10 at 10:30 am
Karen Gomyo, a violinist renowned for the intensity of her playing, will perform Dvorák’s Concerto, a powerful work that draws on the sources of Bohemian dances.

Rachmaninoff’s Enthralling Symphony no.2
October 16 at 7:30 pm and October 19 at 2:30 pm
Osmo Vänskä returns to the OSM for the third time, to conduct Rachmaninoff’s sumptuous Symphony no.2.

Family Concert!  Fantastic Creatures
October 27 at 2:00 pm
Meet a plethora of fantastic creatures brought to life by illustrator Frédéric Ellis in this concert conducted by Adam Johnson.

Beethoven’s Imperial Concerto no.5
October 30 and 31 at 7:30 pm
Pianist Simon Trpceski makes his OSM debut in Beethoven’s majestic Concerto no.5, conducted by Vasily Petrenko.

85th Edition of the OSM competition The 85th edition of the OSM Competition will take place from November 5 to 9, 2023. After the huge success of the return of the in-person rounds, the Competition is back in force with an edition dedicated to two instruments families: woodwinds and brass.
