Valsef Dream Big Foundation raises $422,736 for the Montreal Children's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Guests came out for a James Bond themed unforgettable night of glamour, intrigue, and elegance. The black-tie affair brought together over 250 community members for a gourmet meal, dancing, live music, raffle and more.

Proceeds from the 2nd Annual Valsef Charity Gala go to support the NICU critical care for our tiniest community members. In particular, the funds will support the Smart Hospital Project and Point of Care Ultrasonography (POCUS).

The Smart Hospital Project is transforming Neonatal & Pediatric monitoring, especially in the areas of wireless vitals monitoring; data retrieval, processing and visualization; and, respiratory monitoring and apnea detection. POCUS will allow physicians to perform and interpret advanced diagnostics from the patient’s bedside, allowing for rapid diagnosis of multiple medical conditions ranging from acute appendicitis, airway compromise, abdominal aortic aneurysm, and traumatic injury assessment.

Since the Valsef Dream Big Foundation was started in 2022, it has donated over $850,000 to Montreal charitable organizations in four core areas: Youth, Education, Environment, and Health. With Valsef Group companies (Valsoft, Valnet, Valstone & Valsef Capital) donating 1% of profits and their commitment to matching every dollar raised for the Foundation, the impact of every donation is amplified. Factor into that, that 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to the charitable organization, all contributions make a meaningful impact.
