The 3rd edition of Japan Week will take place from May 8 to 14, 2023 in participating stores and restaurants.

Japan Week invites Montrealers to discover and enjoy Japan, without leaving their city! Through its restaurants, stores and cultural activities, celebrate and discover the richness of this fascinating country. Festival goers will be able to discover a wide range of Japanese food and products.

This Year’s Ambassadors:
🌸 Kuniko Fujita (Mme. Saké au Québec) – Lecturer, Master Sommelier and International Sake Sommelier
🌸 Great lover of Japan, Geneviève Borne, admires the country of the rising sun for its thousand-year-old traditions and the great sense of innovation of its people.
🌸 Valérie Harvey, writer and sociologist from Quebec. She is mainly interested in Japan, where she lived for several years (in Kyoto), with six publications devoted to this country.

On the program: 22 restaurants, 17 stores and 3 cultural activities to discover!

In addition to a variety of restaurants, stores and activities, fans of Shibas and Akitas, two popular Japanese dog breeds, will have the pleasure of joining the 4th edition of the gathering, which attracts over 150 dogs, on May 13, 2023.
