Golfers are met at the main entrance to the hotel, clubs already loaded in their waiting cart. A short drive up the Panoramic Trail brings the golfers to the new clubhouse, practice facilities and departure points. The course and its infrastructure received a four-year $10million+ investment that began in 2002. The St. Laurent, Richelieu and Tadoussac are each a 9-hole course, and Jean-Philippe explained that when played in combinations, golfers can enjoy three different 18-hole configurations. “We offer a unique golf experience here at Le Manoir Richelieu, beginning when we pick up our golfers and their clubs right at the hotel. The view is an important part of our golf experience, and it begins when they drive their carts up the Panoramic Trail.” From the Gold Tees (long) the St. Laurent is 3,178 yards; the Richelieu is 3,138 yards; and the Tadoussac is 2,918 yards. Combined with the uneven terrain and strategically placed bunkers, it’s a course that will provide a satisfying challenge to most golfers. The St. Laurent is the newest part, designed by Graham Cooke and Associates and was opened in 2005.
