The Cadillac Music band will be hosting their annual Christmas Party fundraiser for Sun Youth Christmas Baskets on Friday, November 22nd at the popular Wheel Club in NDG. The fun starts at 8:00pm. There will be a Silent Auction for a Two-Night Getaway in Lake Placid, Brunch for Two at Rosélys in the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel, tickets upcoming shows. Plus a Half ‘n’ Half draw. The funds raised will go towards the purchase of fresh produce and new toys for the Sun Youth Christmas Baskets.

The good folks at Sun Youth and their many partners, volunteers and donors come together each year to distribute Christmas and Holiday baskets to less fortunate Montreal families. Politicians of every stripe, police officers, and citizen volunteers set aside time to gather food and new toys so that parents can bring some joy and hope to their children. The Christmas Basket program lets the less fortunate families know that they are not forgotten.

Cadillac Music performs a high energy mixture of rock ‘n’ roll and R&B classic hits from the 60s and 70s. All the guys in this 5-man band sing, bringing rich vocal harmonies to their repertoire of hits that were the soundtrack of our youth. Some of the songs in their diverse repertoire are:  Calendar Girl, You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’, Pretty Woman, Return To Sender, Do You Love Me?, I Got You (I Feel Good), Twist & Shout, It’s Now Or Never, Baby I Need Your Lovin’, Tell Me Why, Runaround Sue, Domino, Brown-Eyed Girl and Wilson Pickett’s 634-5789. Each night the band performs 45+ songs – each one of them a Top 10 Hit.

The first set gets underway at 8:00pm – an earlier start time requested by many members of our audience. The Wheel Club is located at 3373 Cavendish, on the east side – just below Sherbrooke.  Admission is just $15, and includes your first drink (or two soft drinks).
