A classical mandolinist and a jazz double bassist unite in a musical encounter where modernity meets tradition. At the crossroads between the Western classical tradition, Moroccan rhythms, Eastern harmonies, and free jazz improvisation, Avi Avital and Omer Avital – who are not related! – engage in a rhythmically charged and inspired musical conversation.

Bourgie Concert Hall, at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) complex, is a 444-seat venue located in the restored Erskine and American Church (designed in 1894 in Neo-Romanesque style by architect Alexander Cowper Hutchison).
