In the Soussou language Sogué means “Sun”. Productions Kalabanté proposes a project inspired by the migration of African minorities to Canada. Thanks to the African dances and songs, as well as the amazing acrobatic numbers, you will discover the enthusiastic path traveled by the performers until their integration in this new land.

YAMOUSSA BANGOURA is a multidisciplinary artist who began his circus training with Guinean troupe Circus Baobab. Yamoussa began his professional career with an African and European tour of the show “The Legend of the Drum Monkey”. After being spotted in Spain, he was recruited by the Cirque Éloize and participated in the creation, and then world tour, of the show “Nomade”, as an acrobat from 2002 to 2007. In 2010, he joined the equestrian company Cavalia for the creation of the show “Odysséo” and toured with them until 2012. He now focuses on projects for his own company, Productions Kalabanté.
