Orchestre Métropolitain presents

Viva Verdi

The power, depth and agility of the voice of Russian bass-baritone Ildar Abdrazakov has dazzled audiences from New York’s Metropolitan Opera and Saint Petersburg’s Mariinsky Theatre to the Opéra Bastille in Paris. Who better than one who has sung leading roles in Atilla, Macbeth, Oberto and Luisa Miller to delight music lovers with his performance of Verdi’s greatest arias? Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts this concert, which will also feature some of the Italian composer’s most thrilling orchestral pages.

Preconcert talks
Mario F. Paquet invites the public to discover the works on the program during a free 30-minute bilingual chat with the concert players.

Young Music Lovers Preludes
A musical performance by young musicians takes place in the Foyer Allegro 30 minutes before the beginning of each concert presented at the Maison symphonique de Montréal.
