A night as flamboyant as the legendary music and style of Elton John

The 2016 fireworks competition will end on a high note with the presentation of a pyromusical display as flamboyant as the legendary music and style of Elton John. La Ronde has joined forces with Melrose Pyrotechnics from Kingsbury, Indiana to create this fireworks extravaganza. Melrose Pyrotechnics, Inc. has participated in La Ronde’s competition in 2006, 2009 and 2014. The firm won the Gold Jupiter at its first presence in 2006. This year’s closing display features the music of Elton John, who is indeed the narrator of this tribute and invites us into his musical and personal universe. The soundtrack list includes megahits such as Rocket Man, Crocodile Rock, Saturday Night’s Alright, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Candle in the Wind, Circle of Life and other worldwide chart toppers from this artist’s outstanding contribution to popular music.

La Ronde proudly presents the 32nd edition of L’International des Feux Loto-Québec. In keeping with the tradition, this year’s edition is a succession of world-class displays. From July 2 to 30, on Saturday and Wednesday nights, Montreal’s sky will light up with outstanding fireworks displays by some of the greatest pyrotechnic artists of the world.
