The Segal Centre for Performing Arts presents
A Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre’s production in association with the Côte St-Luc Dramatic Society

The Producers
A New Mel Brooks Musical
… in Yiddish!

Book by Mel Brooks & Thomas Meehan
Music & Lyrics by Mel Brooks
Original Direction & Choreography by Susan Stroman

Directed by Anisa Cameron
DWYT Artistic Director Bryna Wasserman

In Yiddish with English and French Supertitles

Mel Brooks’ record-breaking, laugh-out-loud spectacle makes its Yiddish premiere!

A down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious flop in history, thereby bilking their backers out of millions of dollars. Only one thing goes awry: the show is a smash hit! The Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre recreates Mel Brooks’ hysterically funny musical comedy, winner of 12 Tony Awards, in a new production that captures the Golden Age of Yiddish humour.
