Luke Bryan – Kill the Lights Tour

with LITTLE BIG TOWN, DUSTIN LYNCH

Singer and songwriter Luke Bryan grew up listening to George Strait, Conway Twitty, Ronnie Milsap, Alan Jackson, and Merle Haggard, on his parents’ farm in Georgia. He received his first guitar at 14, and a year later he started sitting in with local bands at a country music club.

In the early fall of 2001, Bryan relocated to Nashville, where his heartfelt songs of country life earned him a contract with one of the city’s many publishing houses. Bryan performed at local clubs and received a record deal shortly after an A&R man from Capitol Records saw him perform a set of his original music.

I’ll Stay Me was released in the summer of 2007 and Doin’ My Thing followed in 2009. Doin’ My Thing peaked at number two on the country charts and at number six on the Top 200. The album included two number one singles: “Rain Is a Good Thing” and “Someone Else Calling You Baby” (while “Do I” hit number two). Bryan’s third album, Tailgates & Tanlines, included the the single “Country Girl (Shake It for Me)” – a song that was the first of four Top Five country singles on the album: “I Don’t Want This Night to End” and “Drunk on You” both hit number one, while “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye” peaked at number three. Spring Break…Here to Party followed in 2013. That year he won his first ACM’s Entertainer of the Year award. In 2015, he released Spring Break…Checkin’ Out. Luke Bryan is now touring in support of his fifth full-length album, Kill the Lights.
