What pleasure it is to dance under the moonlight on a nice summer evening!
Tanguero or not, come enjoy the beautiful venue of the Municipal Greenhouses of Verdun, along the riverside.

This site is well known by the tangueros in Montreal, this year the show in the Verdun municipal greenhouses will feature the Quasimodo Trio and dancers Laly Victoria & Leandro Haeder. Do not miss the chance to see their beautiful outdoor show and as well enjoy yourselves on the dance floor!

Orchestra: Quasimodo Trio
Quinteto Daniel Ruggiero, led by the eponymous bandoneon, consists of musicians of the Quasimodo Trio to which will be added a violinist and a guitarist to amplify the musical richness of the band.

Dancers: Laly Victoria & Leandro Haeder
Since July 2012, Laly and Leandro partner together, constantly improving themselves as dancers of both Tango Salon and Stage Tango as well as Argentina’s popular folklore dances. They are regularly invited to perform at the most popular, well known and prestigious milongas in Buenos Aires. For e.g Salón Canning and Club Gricel They are currently in the cast of the Taconeando dinner show, special appearances at the legendary Café Tortoni, and are the most popular tango couple at Plaza Dorrego where they regularly dance.
They were formally a part of the Compañía Tango Folk Jesús Velázquez (The Jesús Velázquez Tango Folk Company) and have danced for various artistic and commercial projects. For instance in the show Yo Adivino el Parpadeo by Guillermo Camblor along with a commercial spot for Armani. As well as being dancers, Laly and Leandro are also the organisers of a Stage Tango practica called ‘Que Lo Parióoo!!!’ and give private classes at all dance levels.

Each year, The Festival International de Tango de Montréal (FITM), created in 2003, presents music of the highest quality performed by musicians from Argentina as well as from Quebec. Many free concerts are offered outdoors and are open to the public at large. The orchestras also present concerts during milongas (dance evenings with live music) and in renowned theatres. Apart from the concerts section, the festival also offers an intensive dance training program with workshops for beginners and dancers of all levels with guest masters.
