The Third addresses, in an expansive format, the stages of creation from inanimate nature through the inception of plant life, to animals, humans, angels and finally love. The single performance of this symphony will be conducted by Zubin Mehta, a former music director of the OSM who is delighted to be returning to Montreal’s orchestra and its audience.
