From September 2 to 4, Place des Festivals and Complexe Desjardins will move to the rhythm of the
DISTRIX Festival as sports and urban arts come together to end Montreal’s festival season in style
and in motion. Nearly 300 athletes and artists will keep us spellbound with their colorful performances.
Intense 3×3 basketball matches, renowned rappers, stunning breaking performances, not to mention
graffiti artists who push the limits of their art.

DISTRIX hosts a stop of the FIBA ​​3×3 Basketball World Series with great fanfare! Premiered at the
Tokyo Olympics, the sport keeps growing in popularity and is now considered the most practiced urban sport in the world. Olympic champions will be there, as well as Canadian twins Katherine and Michelle Plouffe.

BREAKING
The ultimate meeting between art and sport. This stylized sport will make its official debut
at the 2024 Paris Olympics. DISTRIX becomes a step in the Olympic selection process by presenting the Breaking for Gold Challenge for the first time in North America. The best in the world then compete in dance battles that take allow them to accumulate points with a view making it to the Paris Olympics. Gravity is their only limit!
