Bernard Labadie, Les Violons du Roy, and La Chapelle de Québec are always thrilled to share their passion for 18th century choral works, especially those of Johann Sebastian Bach, one of their favorite composers. The soloists, string players, and singers are all looking forward to introducing audiences to Bach’s four Missae breves, also known as the Lutheran masses. These works feature a number of magnificent passages from the composer’s cantatas and are yet another example of his extraordinary genius.
