John Warren

Originally from Montreal, John emigrated to England in the 1960s. For 30 years the John Warren Band showcased his music, played by instrumentalists of the stature of John Surman, Kenny Wheeler, John Taylor, Julian Arguelles, Dave O’Higgins and Henry Lowther. The band toured throughout Europe and broadcast on BBC Radio and BBC 2 TV as well as WDR and NDR radio.

The Canadian premiere of ‘Tales of the Algonquin’ will feature renowned Montreal/NYC saxophonist Chet Doxas.
