Psicobloc Open Series
Free-Climbing Competition

Psicobloc is a fun and extreme competition where fierce competitors will have to demonstrate speed, agility and endurance in order to climb the 55-foot (18m) inverted wall over a deep-water pool.

Without a rope, without equipment or any other protection system, competitors will end with a playful plunge into the swimming pool of the Aquatic Complex.

“PSICOBLOC IS AN EXTREME AND SPECTACULAR FORM OF CLIMBING THAT WILL UNDOUBTEDLY BLOW EVERYONE’S MIND; FOR YEARS WE’VE TALKED ABOUT HOW THIS FORMAT WILL BE THE WAY OF TAKING CLIMBING TO THE MAINSTREAM.” – Chris Sharma, The World’s Top Sport Climber and ICON

Participants will share in $20,000 worth of prize money. There will also be music, exhibitors and activities for all, including yoga and a Dyno competition.

This sport has experienced growing popularity in Europe for 20 years and is now establishing itself in the United States and Canada.
