Angèle Dubeau has led an exceptional international career for over 40 years, performing in great concert halls throughout the world. While her technical brilliance and musicianship have won over critics, her captivating presence, exceptional gift as a communicator, generosity, and keen ability to connect with audiences have made her a favourite with the public. She has garnered numerous awards over the years and stands as one of very few classical violinists whose recordings have achieved gold status. Dubeau has sold over 600,000 albums over the course of her career, while tracks from her discography have been streamed over 80 million times in more than 100 countries. In recognition of her talent and outstanding contribution to the arts, Angèle Dubeau has been made an Officer of the Order of Canada, Chevalier of the Ordre national du Québec, Officer of the Ordre de Montréal, and recently, received a Prix du Québec, the Denise Pelletier Prize for the Performing Arts.

Bourgie Concert Hall, at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) complex, is a 444-seat venue located in the restored Erskine and American Church (designed in 1894 in Neo-Romanesque style by architect Alexander Cowper Hutchison). Designated a national historic site in 1998, the transformed setting is now graced with high-quality acoustics and an exceptional décor incorporating 20 historic Tiffany stained glass windows. Ideal for performances by chamber-music ensembles, string orchestras, and other groups, Bourgie Concert Hall offer music lovers an auditory repertoire as diverse as the MMFA collections
