LES PERCUSSIONS CLAVIERS DE LYON

RAVEL IN NEW YORK

This concert reveals jazz idioms in the music of Maurice Ravel, drawing inspiration from a glorious period in his life when he toured North America and met George Gershwin in New York. A rare opportunity to hear arrangements for five percussion instruments and piano, an ensemble unknown to the French and Americans in those years.
