At the time of its creation, the success of Brahms’ Symphony no. 3 could be felt all the way to America. Even while it evokes a whole range of feelings, it is the heroism emerging from the work that makes it so stirring. World-renowned soloist Veronika Eberle completes the program with Dvořák’s Violin Concerto, a work invested with rich Slavic sonorities.

The OSM presents Brahms’ final orchestral work, his Symphony no. 4, which reveals the full weight of the composer’s torment and fervour. A true masterpiece of the piano repertoire, Beethoven’s Concerto no. 4 will be performed by the renowned pianist Rudolf Buchbinder.
