MASS IN B MINOR

Because of its monumental proportions, the Mass in B minor could not have been destined to the liturgy. Nevertheless, this masterpiece qualifies as the great Cantor’s legacy in the domain of sacred music and recasts various cantata arias and choruses he composed in the last fifteen years of his life.

Presented in collaboration with Ensemble Caprice and marking that ensemble’s 30th anniversary.
