From April 21 to 23, the Plural Contemporary Art Fair will welcome over 45 galleries from 8 Canadian cities to the Grand Quay. Formerly known as Papier, Plural celebrates the best of contemporary art in Canada.

Plural celebrates the best of contemporary art in Canada. Created by and for the galleries, the fair presents and brings together the plurality of voices and works in contemporary art from across the country. It elevates art market practices through a rigorous selection of galleries presenting thoughtfully chosen artists and artworks; and through accessible programming that addresses current issues and questions in the field of art. Plural fosters the discovery of new voices and forms of expression in leading contemporary art and cultivates a sense of collectivity within the Canadian art community.

This year, the fair is expanding to both floors of the Grand Quay: the Terminal (first floor) and the Pavilion (second floor). Visitors can expect a new experience with a fully reconfigured floor plan where the main entrance is located on the second floor. The Pavilion, a bright space with stunning views of the city, will offer several new features.

The 2nd floor will host an exhibition of sculptural works and installations. Visitors will also find a dining area, visual arts publications and partner spaces. Finally, and most importantly, the panel discussion area will be relocated to the Pavilion, allowing more visitors to attend the fair’s program in a more open and inviting space.

Friday, April 21: noon – 9 pm
Saturday, April 22: 11 am – 7 pm
Sunday, April 23: 11 am – 6 pm

Reserve a timed-entry ticket or three-day pass in advance, as there will be no tickets available for sale on site. www.plural.art
