Here’s an invitation to expand your taste horizons this summer! There are a number of regions on the planet where insects already constitute a source of food for human beings. The Space for Life chefs are giving free rein to their imaginations in creating new recipes based on insects and local ingredients. For the occasion they’re concocting treats with surprising flavors. Go ahead, take a bite – your taste buds will be amazed! Nature interpreters will collect your impressions of the tasting and fill you in on the benefits – for both you and the environment – of making insects part of your daily diet. You’ll get to discover a number of cultures in Africa, Asia and Mexico that use insects in preparing classic family recipes, and also take part in discussions about various aspects of insect eating. And you can even choose to take an insect-based product home. Located at an outdoor tent by the Fuji Pavilion.
