INVASION COCKTAIL -THE COCKTAIL FESTIVAL IS COMING BACK FOR ITS 4TH EDITION

Get ready to shake it up!

After the last edition’s resounding success, with more than 8000 attendees, Invasion Cocktail is coming back even stronger as Quebec’s cocktail culture is booming. The festival has become an unmissable event for cocktail aficionados, as well as industry professionals, ready to reinvent their craft through unique cocktail creations that best represent their establishment.

Presented by MadeWithLove, Canada’s most extravagant mixology competition, Invasion Cocktail Festival will take place in over 35 bars and restaurants in Montreal and Quebec City. Over 250 cocktails, mixed by the province’s greatest bartenders, will be introduced throughout the week at some of Quebec’s finest cocktail rooms. A unique occasion to discover exclusive cocktail creations, available only for the duration of the event.

A NEW EDITION FULL OF NEW FEATURES!  This year, by downloading the passport free of charge on invasioncocktail.com and presenting it at participating establishments, guests will have access to a special discount price on all the drinks on the Invasion Cocktail menu. A great way to discover the fascinating world of mixology in the finest establishments without breaking the bank!
In addition, all passport holders will have the chance to win one of the ten mixology workshops offered by the École du Bar de Montréal.

This year, in addition to a week of celebrations at our partner establishments, the program includes:
May 9 and May 10 –  Opening Night in Montreal (Phi Centre) and Quebec City (Ateliers et Saveurs).
Two evenings dedicated to the art of mixology, in collaboration with our partner brands, where you will get to discover a selection of signature cocktails before everyone else! Come enjoy tasting stations, extravagant cocktails and great music in an amazing atmosphere!

May 14 – A new edition of the famed Festive Brunch at the Au Pied de Cochon Sugar Shack!
Treat yourself to an incomparable culinary experience in a Parisian atmosphere with this gargantuan brunch presented by St-Germain. Take advantage of Invasion Cocktail’s all- inclusive package, including decadent cocktails (4 glasses included in package), an unforgettable meal and transport by bus from Montreal!

May 15-16 – Invasion Cocktail’s Pro Days at Artgang
Two days of training for industry professionals, featuring international speakers, to promote education within the cocktail industry. This event will combine technical workshops, discussion panels and training seminars, hosted by some of the biggest names in bartending: Camille Ralph, St-Germain Global Ambassador, Nicola Battafarano, winner of the Rhumbellion 2016 competition, Dr. Don Livermore, master blender at Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd. and Simone Caporale, Best International Bartender 2014.
In an effort to support the future of the industry, in collaboration with l’École du Bar de Montréal, our two Pro Days will give an opportunity for up-and-coming bartenders to showcase their talents to the biggest names in the business by assisting them throughout the seminars.

May 16 – MadeWithLove National Final at TRH-Bar
Don’t miss Invasion Cocktail festival’s glam-trash closing night! The MadeWithLove National Final opens its doors to the public in a wild, glamour and underground atmosphere, just in time for the extravagant competition to reach its highest point!  The 16 finalist bartenders, coming from all over the country, will compete in front of a panel of judges in the hopes of winning one of many trips to our partners’ distilleries as well as taking home the title of Best Barchef MadeWithLove 2017.
The price of the ticket includes the cocktail tasting, some appetizers and the #JägerBBQ on the terrace, courtesy of Jägermeister. You will also have the chance to attend a thrilling skateboard competition, a presentation of Pabst Blue Ribbon. An evening you won’t want to miss!
A series of workshops for consumers will also be taking place at Monsieur Cocktail in Quebec City and Ateliers et Saveurs in Montreal. Get to know the barman in you and learn the basics of cocktail creation. In collaboration with Rhum Trois-Rivières, Vermouth Rouge Gorge et Cachaça Leblon.
