OVO by Cirque du Soleil returns to Montreal for 15 performances at the Bell Centre from December 27th, 2024 to January 5th, 2025. Praised around the world, and created by Brazilian author, director, and choreographer Deborah Colker, OVO immerses us in an unsuspecting universe alive at our feet!

OVO, “egg” in Portuguese, is a colorful intrusion into the life of insects. We discover an ecosystem populated by impressive inhabitants: powerful crickets bounce on trampolines, night butterflies flutter in an aerial pas-de-deux, mischievous spiders contort in their webs… and a ladybug falls in love with a strange creature!

When an egg appears in their colony, the insects are amazed by this bizarre object, an inexplicable enigma and timeless symbol of the cycle of their life. Wild and delicate, chaotic, and adorable, the show is an incessant explosion of color, energy and movement that tickles the imagination and charms with its double exuberance!

Composed of 100 people (including 52 artists) from 25 nationalities, this international group stages high-level acrobatic numbers that redefine the limits of the human body. Since its opening in Montreal in 2009, OVO has thrilled more than 7 million people in 40 countries.
