Marianne Lambert, soprano

Young soprano, Marianne Lambert is a finalist for the Opus Award for the romantic album of the year with Mélodies Passagères, recipient of the Opus Award fort Concert of the Year – Regions for Bel Canto, the An die Musik Recital Award at the 25th Clermont-Ferrand International Singing Competition, as well as the Grand Prix for the 20th Concours International de Chant de Marmande. A diamond voice with shimmering colours, Marianne Lambert displays a stunning stage presence. The intelligence behind her acting is equaled only by her impressive vocal control.

Former member of the Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal, Marianne was a guest soloist of these prestigious orchestras: Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières, Orchestre symphonique de Québec, Orchestre Métropolitain, McGill Chamber Orchestra, Nouvel Ensemble Moderne, and Orchestre symphonique de la Grande-Bretagne.

Rose Nagar-Tremblay, contralto

Contralto Rose Naggar-Tremblay studied at McGill University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance with a minor in European literature and culture. In 2021, she made a remarkable debut at the Sofia Opera in the role of Carmen, won First Prizes at the OSM Competition and the Georges Enesco Competition (Paris), won the Young Hope scholarship Canadian lyric and the Prize for the best interpretation of a Canadian work at the OSM Competition with the Healing cycle, which she composed in collaboration with Éric Champagne. In 2022, she was named Révélation Radio-Canada (Radio-Canada breakthrough artist) and won Second Prize at the Prix d’Europe. An accomplished musician, Rose Naggar-Tremblay frequently lends her voice to chamber music, taking part in numerous concerts and recitals. In 2023, she will make her debut at the Opéra de Metz in the role of the Second Spirit (Rusalka).

Emmanuel Hasler, tenor

Lyric tenor Emmanuel Hasler began his professional training at the Centre de musique baroque de Versailles. He then joined the National Conservatory of Paris and decided one year later to study at the Université de Montréal with the Canadian tenor Richard Margison. After obtaining a master’s degree, he pursued a doctorate in performance, supported by scholarships such as the Anne-Marie Trahan, George-Cedric Ferguson, Abbé Charles-Émiles Gadbois, Azrielli and Louise Roy scholarships. On stage, he sang roles as eclectic as Albert Herring, Ferrando, Raoul de Gardefeu, Orpheus or even Adario, Idomeneo, Don José, whom he has sung in July 2022 at the Rimouski Opera.

Emmanuel Hasler is also well known for his sacred music interpretation, notably in Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil, Handel’s Messiah or even Bach’s Saint John Passion. He collaborates with many European and Canadian ensembles such as La Tempête, Cappella Genevensis, Chronochromie, Orchestre symphonique du Pays Basque, L’Harmonie des saisons, I Musici de Montréal, the Orchestre classique de Montréal, the choir of the Church of St. Andrew & St. Paul. He is also interested in the world of lied and melody, in particular Schubert’s Der Winterreise (with Francis Perron at the piano and the Compagnie Flak-José Navas).

Geoffroy Salvas, bass

Baritone Geoffroy Salvas has been recognized as First Prize winner of the Concours International de Chant de Marseille 2017 in the Operetta category and as New England Finalist of the Metropolitan Opera National Council 2019. He studied with Gabrielle Lavigne and Aline Kutan at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal before joining the Atelier Lyrique at the Opera of Montreal for 2 seasons.

His numerous collaborations with prestigious ensembles such as the Opéra de Montréal, the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, the Opéra de Québec, and Pacific Opera Victoria have allowed him to gain extensive stage experience over the years. Geoffroy Salvas has notably worked under the direction of Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Kent Nagano, Rafael Payare, Clelia Cafiero, Mélanie Léonard, Masaaki Suzuki, Paul McCreech, Jacques Lacombe, Jean-Marie Zeitouni, and Nicolas Ellis.

Ensemble ArtChoral is a professional choir steeped in the grand tradition of choral music in Quebec for over 40 years, with the mission to present professional choral music in Québec, Canada and internationally.

Ensemble ArtChoral is recipient of the PRIX OPUS Musical Event of the Year 2020. Ensemble ArtChoral has established Maison symphonique as home for its Montreal concert series and is the professional choir in residence 2023-2027 with Festival Classica and le Nouvel Opéra Métropolitain.
