Trio Mirzoev, McConnell and Rivard-Landry

Julia Mirzoev, violinist named by the CBC among the 30 most promising young musicians in Canada, has distinguished herself at the Klein International Competition, the OSM Competition, and the Canadian Music Competition, where she received the Grand Prize. As a soloist, she has been invited by several prestigious orchestras.

Braden McConnell, cellist, has participated in numerous competitions and has been a laureate for many awards. As a guest artist, he toured Brazil and Argentina and performed at Carnegie Hall. As a chamber musician, he was a member of the Persé and Myriade String Quartets.

Antoine Rivard-Landry, a pianist, has participated in several competitions, including the Competition of the Trois-Rivières Symphony Orchestra, where he won the 1st prize, and the Competition of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, where he obtained the 2nd prize. In 2016, he began a career as a soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist.

This trio, formed by artistic director Irina Krasnyanskaya, will interpret an original program dedicated to Beethoven’s symphonies, transcribed for piano trio.
