In this unusually structured concert, she will give the first North American performance of her own staged production of Poulenc’s monodrama La voix humaine, showcasing the full intensity of her dramatic artistry. She will also conduct Richard Strauss’ Metamorphosen, a powerfully expressive and introspective work.
