Once again this summer, the sky over Montreal will be lit up with dazzling fireworks displays by the world’s greatest pyrotechnic artists, who will compete in a colourful competition.

A tribute to Boy & Girl Bands open this 37th edition of the competition. You will enjoy a spectacular show, as you move to the rhythm of hits from the Boy and Girl Bands of yesterday and today, including the Backstreet Boys, BTS and the Spice Girls.

Royal Pyrotechnie
In 1967, Jean-Pierre Roy participated in the first fireworks of Expo 67 in Montreal. Discovering his passion for pyrotechnics, he founded Feux d’artifice Royal, now called Royal Pyrotechnie. It’s the most successful firm in Canada, winning 9 World Championships, 19 Prestige trophies and 4 Golden Jupiters.

If you choose to watch the fireworks from Jacques Cartier Bridge, please note: To ensure spectator safety during the fireworks, the bridge will be completely closed in the evening from 8:30pm to 11:30pm. The bridge access ramps will be closed prior to the event at approximately 8:00pm. Access will be maintained for emergency services. The sidewalk and the multipurpose path will be completely closed between 8:30pm and 11:30pm during these events. Only pedestrians, strollers and people with reduced mobility will have access to the bridge; bicycles will not be allowed on the bridge.
