Tango Guardia Imperial de Buenos Aires

All the way from Argentina, Guardia Imperial Quinteto Tango makes its way to Montreal for its first-ever appearance in Canada.

The Guardia Imperial Quintet is a musical ensemble directed by bandoneonist Leandro Ragusa, featuring virtuoso musicians on piano, bandoneon, double-bass, and violin, with vocals by exceptional singer Hector Pablo.

On the program: songs including El Choclo, Madame Ivonne, Racing Club, Organito de la tarde, and Mi Luna, among others. The Quintet will also play pieces by Piazzolla—such as Oblivion and Libertango—along with compositions by Leandro Ragusa and singer Pulpo.

Six dancers will showcase the dazzling sensuality of the tango in colourful choreography by dancer Elias Navas.

A total of eleven artists on stage to deliver emotional thrills and whisk you off to the heart of Buenos Aires!
