Conservatoire de musique de la Montérégie presents

McCartney Symphonique

Paul McCartney, who has just celebrated his 80th birthday, is an undeniable living legend of music and guardian of the flame of the Beatles. McCartney symphonique will transport you to the world of the 1960s and 70s with classics such as Let it be, Yesterday and Band on the Run, performed by the Orchestre symphonique du Grand Montréal, its band of four musicians and a choir of 40 singers.

This *benefit event* aims to raise funds for the activities of the Conservatoire de musique de la Montérégie, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The Conservatoire de musique de la Montérégie, an organization dedicated to the musical training and performance of the next generation of musicians, was founded by violinist Marie-Anne Rozankovic in 2003.

Marie-Anne Rozankovic has been teaching the violin for over thirty years and directs string and chamber music ensembles at the Conservatoire de la Montérégie and the Vincent-d’Indy Music School. She is active on the music scene with several ensembles such as the Orchester de Chambre de la Montérégie (OCM), the Chamber Players of Greater Montreal and the Orchester symphonique du Conservatoire de la Montérégie (OSCM), particularly in venues such as the Maison Symphonique, Salle Claude-Champagne, Salle Marie-Stéphane, at the Outremont Theater and in historic places in Montérégie and Greater Montreal. Marie-Anne also toured Canada, the United States, France and Spain from the 1990s until 2017.
