Let’s Reignite the Sky – for the 36th edition of L’International des Feux Loto-Québec

For its second performance in Montreal, Croatian firm Mirnovec Pirotehnika invites audiences of all ages to an international dance competition where, instead of dancers, it will be fireworks illuminating the sky to the colours of tango, twist, jive, waltz, cancan, boogie-woogie, rock’n’roll, samba, and more.

Mirnovec Pirotehnika was founded in 1993 and operates several companies in the Balkans as well as one in the Middle East. Since 2001, Mirnovec has competed in international fireworks festivals in Germany, the UK, Italy, France, Belgium, and China. It is the company’s second time participating in L’International des Feux Loto-Québec. At its first presence in 2013, Mirnovec took home the Silver Jupiter.

The fireworks start at 10 pm, rain or shine.

If you choose to watch the fireworks from Jacques Cartier Bridge, please note: To ensure spectator safety during the fireworks, the bridge will be completely closed in the evening from 8:30pm to 11:30pm. The bridge access ramps will be closed prior to the event at approximately 8:00pm. Access will be maintained for emergency services. The sidewalk and the multipurpose path will be completely closed between 8:30pm and 11:30pm during these events. Only pedestrians, strollers and people with reduced mobility will have access to the bridge; bicycles will not be allowed on the bridge.
