The Contemporary Art Galleries Association (AGAC) is pleased to announce the return of Gallery Weekend Montreal! The second edition of the event, which will take place from June 16th to 19th, will include 20 galleries to be discovered via 4 routes throughout the city. With summer and beautiful weather just around the corner, AGAC and its members invite the public to discover or reconnect with Montreal’s thriving art scene.

An opportunity to see and discover contemporary art

As part of Gallery Weekend, several galleries will be offering special programming in conjunction with their exhibitions, thus giving the public a fuller experience to view the artworks presented. Whether it be through guided tours, artist talks, conversations with gallery owners or other professionals in the field, this will be the perfect opportunity to discover leading Canadian art. For both newcomers and seasoned collectors, the event is a cultural rendez-vous that allows visitors to discover contemporary art, as well as expand their collections.
