Y.E.S. Employment and Entrepreneurship has established an impressive record of providing job readiness and business skills training to youth and young adults in the English-speaking community in Montreal and throughout Quebec. On average, the organization helps 3,500 individuals with job skills training, finding employment and teaching artists how to market and manage the business side of their creative endeavours.

Even in the tumultuous 2020 pandemic, Y.E.S. Employment and Entrepreneurship helped 2,888 young adults to launch or expand 700 businesses. The programs provide real-life and hands-on training for our future business leaders in the English-speaking community. Each person is provided with personalized support, with advice that is specific to their business or employment situation

The Tune In To YES Annual Gala is a major fundraiser for the organization, and Director of Communications Kathy Slotsve told me that they are delighted to be hosting an in-person fundraising 2021 Gala – after a virtual event in 2020. “We are soooo happy to back with a live event this year. We have a 1920s theme planned at the Bord’Elle Eatery and Bar in Old Montreal. We’ll have aerial circus performers, cool canapés and cocktails – and we’re asking people come with their best costumes, since we’re only five days from Hallowe’en.”
