The Soldier’s Tale, which grew out of deep collaboration between Stravinsky and the Swiss writer Ramuz, is an eminently original work embracing theatre, stage music and comedy. Its good-natured atmosphere and jazz and ragtime accents reflect the spirit of Paris during the Belle Époque. This is an opportunity to discover or revisit a richly inventive creation.
