Exporail, the Canadian Railway MuseumModel Trains Exhibition – August 17-18, 2019 Exporail LiveEvents August 12, 2019 1790 Model Trains Exhibition All-time favourite of our visitors! See a variety of operating model train layouts as model railroaders from Quebec and Ontario exhibit their passion for their trains and share this wonder-filled world highlighting their talents and craftsmanship. Some components are interactive. The layouts are replicas of real railroads complete with rolling stock, buildings and various railroad structures and are also cleverly landscaped by these skilled enthusiasts. The model trains are fascinating to watch because they are miniature replicas of real trains! These small vehicles are manufactured in different scales, according to calculations of exact proportions … up to 220 times smaller than the reality sometimes. Once again this year, the Quélug kiosk will be present with its Lego® blocks models: a success with children! Visitors can make this experience more fun by participating in regular Museum activities.
