Country: South Korea Dreams can take various forms and interpretations. In our childhood, we make wishes and we dream of flying to a world of fairy tales and imaginary characters. We grow up and become adults that no longer dream of wonderful land, but to escape from the sometimes harsh reality of our daily lives. Yet those dreams of our childhood are well alive in our hearts and memories. Hanwha’s pyrotechnical artists invite us to live or relive the dreams of our youth in this pyromusical extravaganza on music from Mary Poppins, the Penguins of Madagascar, Ratatouille, and Coco. The show also features excerpts from the contemporary musical La La Land, and the fun and lively rhythms of popular songs by Pharrell Williams, Imagine Dragons, and of course, a touch of K-Pop! Hanwha Corporation participated in L’International des Feux Loto-Québec in 1989, 1994 and 2008, and is back for a fourth time for the 35th edition. Established in 1952, Hanwha is now the leader in the pyrotechnical field in South Korea. Among others, the conglomerate has created pyromusical displays for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Seoul Summer Olympics in 1988, for several national sports events including the FIFA World Cup in 2002, and the opening and closing ceremonies of Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in 2018.
