L’Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal: On the path of love

The young singers of the Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal lead us with happiness on the path of love.

As the Opéra de Montréal’s artist-in-residence program for emerging Canadian opera singers, pianists-vocal coaches, and stage directors, the Atelier lyrique serves as a true springboard to a professional career. Among the values the program emphasizes are autonomous career management and achieving a balance on a human level—with the ultimate goal being that Atelier members leave the program as complete artists who can contribute to the advancement of the discipline, both at home and abroad. Since 1984, two hundred artists have received training at the Atelier, with a good number going on to successful careers on the national and international scenes.
