“We are very proud to have achieved such success in a year with such challenging market conditions,” said Stephen Hunter, president and CEO of Sunwing Travel Group.

“Sunwing is the largest provider of vacation packages and offers more top-rated resorts packages to the sun than any other Canadian travel company.  The fact that we’ve achieved triple digit growth validates the decisions we’ve made to invest in customer experience and quality product.”

Sunwing Airlines was recently recognized as the top leisure airline, marking the third consecutive time it has received the Consumer Choice Award for the Toronto area.

The company now has over 2,000 employees and its corporate bases in Toronto and Montreal were recently refurbished to accommodate the growing work force.

In 2014 Sunwing Travel Group established its own charitable initiative, the Sunwing Foundation, to help promote youth and education programs in the destinations served by the travel group.

The company also offers it’s own line of luxury all-inclusive resorts in The Bahamas, Jamaica, Mexico and Cuba, operating under the brand names of Royalton and Memories.
